How can I get my authorization code to transfer my domain after cancelling the domain account?

I cancelled my domain to move to a different provider. I didn't realize I could just transfer it so I cancelled it with yahoo and wanted to get it again with the new company. However, Yahoo still has it registered. Since my smallbusiness account was closed, I cannot even contact them to get the code I need. Is there anyway to get that code or at least contact yahoo without purchasing another domain to reopen my small business account?
