It's a fad destined to disappear eventually. Already, they're talking of adding functions to it that will betray it's "what your doing now" founding philosophy. It's a pretty dumb idea if you think about it. The wonder of the internet is that it gives us unfettered universal communication that used to only exist for large media companies. Why would someone invent something like twitter that imposes limits on the world's new found freedom of communication?
