Is Garnier Fructis okay to use on my daughters hair who is very course an thick?

I usually use the pink shampoo or something else along that line with the conditioners and hot oil treatments. But I live in a small town and I am lucky if they supply stuff for black peoples hair around here. I was just basically wondering if that is alright to use on her type of hair it says it is for dry and damaged hair (fortifying conditioner) and I use it on my head but I have soft wavy hair. I just don't want to ruin her hair or dry it out. Thanks!
