I permanently straightened my hair 3 months ago and now my hair is falling like anything- what to do?

I used the permanent Japanese straightening procedure and it was painful to begin with. I have been losing hair since but now it is worse! Almost 100 strands after every wash. I am having a nightmare. Any suggestions on how to save the remainder of my hair?
