How do I get my hair back to blonde without bleaching after I have dyed it brown?

I have dyed my hair dark reddish-brown for a couple months, but then decided to go back to blonde (I have naturally light blonde hair), but when I tried to dye it back the first time nothing happened. So I used a L'Oreal Haircolor Remover, which turned my hair bright orange. Then I tried to dye it blonde again, but nothing happen. So now I'm stuck looking like Carrot Top.
