I know it depends on how you take care of it and the make of the car, but I am looking for averages. I am trying to get a decent car with around $6000 and that is hard in post-cash for clunkers times. Anyway, when do cars really start to have huge issues? Also, for anyone who knows a lot about cars, is it better to get say a five-year-old car with 68,000 miles or a ten-year-old car with 42,000 miles?
