How do I encrypt files with WinZip 11.2 and email so that the other person can open it?

For work I need to send files over email. The other agency wants us to encrypt using WinZip. I have the evaluation version of WinZip 11.2, and the other person complained that she cannot open the file the last time I tried to encrypt using WinZip.
